VERTOÏ GROUP
The Vertoï group is a group of mixed dancers associating professional and amateur dancers, with or without disabilities.
Group history
From 2014 to 2022, through the CCO, Natacha Paquignon responds to the invitation of Foyer APAJH Le Pré Vert, which seeks to develop a dance activity. The Pré Vert is an house APAJH (Association for Adults and Young Disabled) for adults with mental or psychological disabilities. It is located in Villeurbanne, very close to two partner locations of the company: Toï Toï Le Zinc and the CCO Jean-Pierre Lachaize.
The company has already been conducting a shared creation project in Toï Toï Le Zinc for several years. She proposes to Le Pré Vert to integrate this project. Then the Vertoï group was born, a group of dancers made up of two groups: the Pré Vert group composed of the residents of the home, and the Toï Toï group composed of professional and amateur dancers. A work rhythm is being set up, with working sessions for each group (group Pré Vert, group Toï Toï), and common residencies for both groups.
Since 2014, the group has been conducting artistic research that leads to several creations.
