Three countries, the same youth. (De)construire is both a trinational project around European memory and a dance performance carried out by the Franco-German association Plattform. Bringing together 90 students from five schools of dance, design, light and sound in Lyon, Barcelona and Leipzig, this creation for the Festival of Lights invites us to reflect on the values of Europe that are brotherhood and the fight for freedom.
With youth as a link between past and future, (Dé)construire is based on a luminous straight line which, according to its layouts, symbolizes blocking, here communication, or construction. We understand that nothing is taken for granted in the fight against tyranny and that pitfalls can arise at any time.
